Mosquito Bowmen Archery Club is hosting 2 qualifiers in 2026
March 7th and 8th Registration 8 - 12
May 9th and 10th Registration 8 - 12
For those archers that are qualified for Shooter of the Year, here are your peer groups and tentative target assignments. as you can see we have arranged to assignments to keep yardage classes the same as much as possible. We have also kept known and unknown classes separate. Please pay attention to the target numbers as they are laid out as the course is laid out. Please keep in mind that this is subject to change depending on attendance. Also if your peer group only has 2 people in it and there is no other class that has the same yardage, a non SOY shooter maybe added to you target.
As everyone can see there are still plenty of targets that are not assigned so there is plenty of room for shooters to shoot on Sunday. Remember that if you are qualified for the Ohio Championship but not SOY eligible, you can still compete to be the 2025 Ohio ASA State Championship and you can shoot on Saturday or Sunday.
I have also copied the peer group rule form the SOY rule for you to reference. If you are SOY eligible in your class then you have been peer grouped.
There are two scenarios that I can see that would allow someone to not shoot on Sunday with these peer groups. 1) If you are the only person in your class eligible for SOY, then you are the peer group. 2) If every archer that is eligible for SOY in a class all agree to shoot as a group at the same time on Saturday but everyone must shoot together.
All of these exceptions must be approved by me prior to shooting.
